Family Time At The Ritz Carlton, Naples (a flashback)
**yup, these photos are over a year old**
One of my favorite things to do is go through old photos. I have boxes upon boxes and albums of pictures from my younger days that I look at when I need to reminisce. However, I can't remember the last time I printed photos. My memories are now stored throughout this blog, on flash drives and SD Cards scattered all over the place. I found this memory card and popped it in out of curiosity. I found this magical staycation that we had last summer. Grey was clearly only a few months old as shown by my lack of confidence to wear a swimsuit, lol. So much has happened since this weekend. The weight is gone (even though I still obsess about it times), I went back to work, then left again, we've moved, Grey is now almost 2 years old - I can go on and on.
Living in South Florida, Naples was quick escape when we needed to recharge our spirits (you can see other trips here and here) this jaunt was my favorite however. I was still in barely functioning zombie mom mode at this point, so being outside in such a beautiful scenery with my family was much appreciated. Staying at the Ritz Carlton Naples was an experience in of itself. Everything was perfect - the room, the food, the beach, the staff - they spoiled us. Now every time we're planning a trip, my first instinct is to see if that city has a Ritz Carlton, a monster has been created. We may have a couple things coming up soon, but in the meantime, this was a G O O D one...
I felt like I was living in a Pinterest board. The weather was perfect and everything was gorgeous with pops of fun color.
Grey ended up having a fan club at the beach of grown men and women. They were living for his swimsuit, a monogrammed suit by Ralph Lauren gifted to him by his God mother. Thanks B!
Virgin strawberry daquiri for me, always.
